NHS Contraception Service

Emergency Hormonal Contraception
Our pharmacist will need to see the person that the emergency contraception is intended for, and will need to ask a few questions regarding the patients’ medical history. This is done in the privacy of our consultation room and everything discussed is in complete confidence.
Pharmacy First
We can give you advice on a range of conditions and suggest medicines that can help. We may also be able to offer treatment and some prescription medicine for some conditions, without you needing to see a GP for: Sinusitis, Infected Insect Bites, Impetigo, Sore Throat and Urinary Tract Infections.
Meningitis B Vaccination
Men B Vaccination is now available on the NHS for a limited for those in school year 13, plus anyone up to 25 going to Uni for the first time next academic year.

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines
If you have out of date or unwanted medicines, both prescription or over the counter drugs, don’t bin them or flush them. You can take your unwanted or out of date medicines back to your pharmacy for safe disposal, and it’s completely FREE. We're very happy to help you.
Electronic Prescription Service
We are able to obtain your prescriptions electronically without the need for a paper copy. Simply ask your GP Surgery to nominate our pharmacy in order for your prescriptions to be transferred to us automatically. We can make your life much simpler and save you time.
Flu Vaccination Services
Book or manage a free or private NHS flu vaccination. If you're aged 65 years old or over before the end of next march, you can book a free flu vaccine. If you're aged 18 to 64 years old, you can book a free flu vaccine if you have certain medical conditions or are pregnant.
New Medicine Service
When you are prescribed a new medicine by your doctor our pharmacists can offer support and advice to ensure you take the new medication as prescribed without suffering any unwanted side effects or explain any further questions you may have. We keep in contact with you for the first few weeks.
